Recollections of Charlie, Will, Ted and Daisy. Harry has been a big part of our lives, and we are going to miss him so much. But we have so many happy memories. Charlie remembers the very first time that Harry walked, enticing him with the iPad he was holding for him – but always just out of his reach. When we were all sitting at the table at meal times and doing silly things, Harry used to mimic us and make us laugh. And the more we laughed the more he would mimic us, and the more we’d all laugh. But we also had to laugh at Daisy’s look of disgust at the mess on Harry’s face, because he enjoyed his food so much and had such bad table manners. Daisy remembers Harry’s hilarious efforts to try to imitate her handstands and forward rolls. The more we laughed, the more he tried, but he never cracked it. We have great video of Harry splashing in the pool in Portugal - and in the sea in South Devon - and enjoying the warm outside shower when we came off the beach - and dancing to the music on Uncle Guy’s bluetooth speaker. Harry would bounce up and down whenever he could hear music, and he loved the Wiggles. Will loved playing with Harry in the sea and on the beach, throwing him around and splashing him, and generally looking after him and having fun with him. Ted remembers Harry always wanting to steal phones from us, and when keys were missing, we always blamed Harry – and just because once we found them in the washing machine. Charlie often talks of Harry arriving at Grandpa Brian’s house and going straight through to the family room expecting to find Grandpa at his desk. Grandpa would always hide behind a chair to say ‘Boo’, but if he was not there, Harry would look behind that chair anyway. We will always remember Grandma Rosie singing ‘Harry, Harry, it’s a lovely day – Harry, Harry, coming out to play’. Harry loved playing in the garden with a ball. Harry was always motivated by us laughing and egging him on, and he just enjoyed making us laugh. We have always had so much fun. We will remember Harry for the rest of our lives. But as we grow older and face life’s challenges, Harry will always be very young, and very handsome, and very happy, and very much loved. Thanks for the memories Harry. We will always treasure them.
